The Rocketeer NC is our no-compromise approach to the Mk3 MX5 / Miata. At its core, the new Rocketeer NC includes the installation of our Rocketeer-developed AJ30 3.0-litre V6 powerplant, engineered specifically for the platform. In standard specification, the new model develops 300bhp and 265lb ft of torque, engineered to retain Rocketeer’s philosophy of pairing old-school analogue driving enjoyment with modern powertrain engineering.
The Rocketeer NC is a completely redesigned Turnkey conversion, built and re-engineered from the ground up. The engineering package for the Rocketeer NC includes a newly designed carbon fibre engine plenum, new exhaust system, throttle body, clutch, and flywheel. The engine itself has been re-engineered to fit the NC platform, with a bespoke design to the cylinder head, ensuring no alterations to the bulkhead are necessary.
Please note that due to the complexities of the conversion, the Rocketeer NC is only available as a Turnkey conversion, built by our engineers at our engineering and production facility in Hampshire UK, or with our approved installers in Germany, USA and Australia. It will not initially be available as a self-build kit.
